Volunteering

First of all, we thank you for volunteering at our sale! We are extremely grateful for all of our volunteer wokers at the sale as we know that you are valuable to the success of the sale!



If you are considering volunteering or already have signed up to volunteer here are a few tips and suggestions that you might find helpful:


*Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may be standing for the majority
  of your work shift and we want you to be comfortable!

*A light snack and drinks (water, pop, chips, crackers) will be provided for you. 
 

*Set-up Volunteers will help our staff inspect clothing and other items for
  cleanliness, tears and stains, seasonal appropriateness, etc. during drop 
  off. Assist consignors with putting their items on the sale's floor.

*Sale Volunteers will help us keep our sale neat and organized during the sale.
  Assist staff as needed. Help in removing tags at check out.

*End of Sale Sorters will help in sorting and organizing unsold items to be
  picked up as well as organizing and boxing items to be donated.

*It is also important for you the volunteer/consignor to help advertise the
  sale. The more people that hear about and shop our sale the better your
  profits as a consignor! Please print our flyer and pass it around to your
  friends, families, preschools, daycares and any other group you feel will
  benefit from the children's consignment sale!

*Workers must sign in as they arrive for their work shift. 

*Workers should not bring their young children with them to work.   
          
                                               

Anyone who volunteers and does not show up for their scheduled shift (without notice) will not be permitted to shop early at any future sales.

It is important to us to keep things fair for all of our volunteers, consignors and shoppers so we appreciate you understanding the importance of this policy!
